On Saturday, June 23, 400 people gathered at Refuge Coffee Co. in Clarkston to show support for their neighbors and to celebrate and honor the vast contributions that refugees make to our communities in honor of World Refugee Day 2018.

Each year on June 20, World Refugee Day, the world commemorates the strength, courage, and resilience of millions of refugees. At the IRC in Atlanta, we also take this time to celebrate the vast contributions that refugees have made to our state for 40 years and to advocate for refugees, asylum seekers and the restoration of the refugee resettlement program.

On September 12th through the 20th the IRC in Dallas celebrated Welcoming Week.

For the fourth consecutive year, your generous donations ensured 31 dedicated DeKalb County high school students could commit a portion of their summer break to our 2021 Ready, Set, College! summer camp, preparing them to gain admission to college and succeed in higher education and beyond!
