The IRC has created a unique tool -- an interactive comic book -- to help Syrian women in Lebanon navigate the challenges of life as a refugee and stay safe.

Syrian refugee children in Beirut often have to help support their families by selling flowers or even begging on the streets. The IRC’s safe spaces give these children a place to just be kids.

Even when bombs dropped around them, these Syrian twin brothers bravely made the dangerous walk to school every day because, for them, education meant survival.

Through counseling and creative activities, thirteen-year-old Nada regained a sense of hope, security and confidence.
