The International Rescue Committee in Denver offers a variety of unpaid internship opportunities throughout the year. Prospective interns must go through the volunteer process and should be currently enrolled in an educational institution or a recent graduate.

The IRC is grateful for the Garden City community's show of support for refugees following a frightening incident targeting refugees and immigrants.

The International Rescue Committee in San Diego hosted the 12th Annual A Taste of the IRC dinner and welcomed over 300 guests to experience first-hand the what refugees bring to the table – from international cuisine to art from around the world, the event celebrated the culture and contributions of San Diego’s refugees.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, refugee community leaders have helped provide masks, language accessible documents and videos, and put their lives on the line for their community.

A young Somali refugee shares her story in hopes of raising awareness to improve the lives of youth around the world. "We all deserve to live in peace…free from fear…but we also deserve to be contributing members of society, no matter where we live."

Rock for Refugees not only brought Nathan Hale High School senior Emmett Lucas one step closer to graduation, it took his senior project outside of the classroom and onto the stage. The event drew more than 150 people and raised an estimated $1,400 in support of the IRC.
