We are seeking volunteers to provide one-to-one ESL tutoring, simple English conversation practice, and teach small ESL groups remotely. (You can choose your preference.) The IRC will provide the curriculum, class instructions, and materials. Digital literacy classes are also available to build your technological confidence and share best practices.

The Digital Literacy Intern will develop digital literacy curriculum for people of all abilities by incorporating a variety of technologies into instruction. This intern will work with Adult Education instructors and Employment Caseworkers to plan lessons that integrate components of ESL, child development and computer skills. S/he may also help with administrative tasks. Must be comfortable working with clients from a variety of backgrounds.

The IRC’s US offices offer a variety of unpaid internship opportunities throughout the year. Prospective interns should be currently enrolled in an educational institution or within 6 months of graduation and are required to submit an application and resume.
