Short-term service projects are a high-impact and flexible way to welcome refugees and immigrants to our community! Team up for a group service day, or sign up individually as an “on-call" volunteer.

The Civic Corps member is responsible for collaborating with IRC staff to determine volunteer needs; recruit, screen, train and supervise volunteers; provide on-going support and guidance for volunteers; and enter volunteer information in a central database system. Member must be able to perform all required tasks remotely until the office is fully open for in-person activities.

Some examples of current volunteer needs are: Social Media, Community Engagement, Outreach, Housing setup for newly arrived refugees, Donation coordination, Resettlement, Health & Wellness, Anti-Trafficking, Economic Empowerment, Immigration.
