On Saturday, June 15, refugees gathered for the IRC in Salt Lake City’s annual Refugee Health Fair to learn more about navigating the healthcare system, mental health, healthy relationships, and nutrition.

With generous support from the Cambia Health Foundation, the IRC in Salt Lake City has been able to develop health and wellbeing programming focused on holistic health outcomes with special attention on broader social determinants of health.

#HelloooAmerica is a low-pressure space where young refugees can access the information they need to lead safe and healthy lives, in a way that affirms their family, culture and futures. This new miniseries is made for and by refugee youth in partnership with the IRC in Atlanta, Advocates for Youth, Parallel World Labs and women-owned Atlanta production studio, Xerophile.
