The IRC in Atlanta’s Youth Futures program ended the 2017-2018 school year with lots to celebrate; our afterschool programming served more than 70 Clarkston High School students throughout the year, including 15 seniors who all successfully graduated in May!

The only Afghan grocery store in Georgia, Baseer’s Kabul Market has been an invaluable resource for the community as we welcome families who were recently evacuated from Afghanistan by the US. Since mid-October, the IRC in Atlanta has purchased more than 100 hot welcome meals from Kabul Market along with countless loaves of traditional Afghan bread!

By organizing a Do It Yourself (DIY) Fundraiser, you are helping spread awareness about refugees living in Utah while providing critical funding that will support our newest neighbors as they work hard to build a new life in our community.

The IRC in Salt Lake City has adapted program delivery and expanded services throughout the pandemic. Now, in 2022, sights are set on further strengthening programs, increasing services available to families served, and deepening commitments to local communities.
