For ten years, Anna has worked alongside refugees and displaced people in the UK and internationally, including in Calais, Greece, Spain, Jordan, Poland, Moldova, and Romania, and studied Social Work for Refugees at the German-Jordanian University in Amman.
Her experience navigating safeguarding systems for families living in camps, hotels, hosted accommodation, and other temporary settings has deepened her understanding of how traditional safeguarding frameworks often fall short for people on the move. Anna’s sessions aim to raise awareness, encourage compassionate responses, and promote safety and dignity for all.
