Admin Support Volunteer

The Administration Department provides support for front line staff. We keep the vans running, the office equipment and supplies ready, keep our office space clean, safe, and comfortable, and support HR functions, all of which help front line staff. The Admin Support Volunteer position does not interact directly with clients but supports the Administration Specialist. Together we make sure staff has what they need to best serve our clients. 
Some of the routine administrative duties would include but are not limited to: collecting mail/distributing to inboxes; doing routine space checks for: cleanliness, water cooler levels, printer needs, sanitizer wipes, (then addressing/reporting found needs); maintaining our sign in station by keeping masks and blank forms stocked; supporting fleet management by checking balances on returned gas cards, scanning report docs, scanning vehicle documents, adding service to master service list, and maintaining van binder; new-hire tasks: updating staff mailboxes; entering names/emails in printers; maintaining birthday and anniversary spreadsheet. Other duties and special projects will arise.

The Admin Support Volunteer works in an air-conditioned office environment. IRC has well established COVID safety protocols for the protection of our clients, volunteers, and staff, which includes wearing masks when in our office and vehicles.
