The IRC in Tucson will be hosting a Citizenship Fair on Saturday, December 9th, 2017 at the YWCA Southern Arizona, 9am-5pm. The IRC's Immigration and Citizenship Services are looking for volunteers that are willing to train on how to complete a citizenship application and to commit to attending our citizenship fair to assist with applications.
- Assist in filling out citizenship applications
- Willingness to learn about the citizenship application process
- Attend training sessions and day of event
- Patience, creativity, teamwork, flexibility
- Spanish speakers preferred
Minimum Commitment: Attend training sessions November 27th-December 9th

Volunteers work with refugee clients participating in the Nutrition and Food Security Program to grow their own produce, gain agricultural skills and maintain their own garden plots.

Volunteers are paired with a refugee family and visit their home once a week to help them practice important life skills and improve English skills.
