Impart the gift of language! The IRC’s English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes help newly-arrived refugees rapidly learn English so that they can secure employment and perform the daily tasks necessary for their family's well-being. Volunteers assist IRC instructors in weekday classes.
- Requirements: Able to work independently to identify and address client needs in a limited-English environment.
- Minimum Commitment: 2.5-10 hours per week for 3 months; M-F, 9-11:30am
