Support the IRC in Abilene financial coach by providing office and direct client assistance during regular IRC business hours 8:30-4:30 M-F.
Location: IRC in Abilene office.
Time Commitment: At least 4 months with a minimum of 4 hours a week.
Duties:
- Assist clients with opening bank accounts, checking online banking information and reading bank statements.
- Assist with financial literacy classes.
- Assist clients with cutting expenses (i.e. utility programs, internet, cell phones, etc.) Engage with clients on tips and tricks to reduce spending.
