Duration: 4-6+ Months; Flexible hours, with a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week, primarily distributed between 09:00 am and 02:00 pm

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Healthcare Database Volunteer will play a crucial role in supporting our organization's efficient management and organization of healthcare data. This role is ideal for individuals interested in refugees, healthcare, and data management who want to contribute their skills to a meaningful cause.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Data Collection, Entry, and Validation:
- Conduct online research and call healthcare centers to gather and input relevant information into databases.
- Perform routine validation checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Database Maintenance:
- Assist in maintaining and regularly updating healthcare databases.
- Identify and rectify discrepancies or errors in the database.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and confidentiality standards.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with team members to document database processes and procedures.
- Provide weekly progress reports to team supervisors.
Other assignments:
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrate interest in data collection and data cleaning.
- Understanding of database systems and data entry processes.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Engaged in learning about the broader IRC mission, philosophy, global work, and local efforts.
- Willing to adhere to IRC volunteer and workplace policies.
