The Human Resources Department serves the staff who serve our clients. The HR Admin Support Volunteer position does not interact directly with clients but supports the Administration Specialist. Together we make sure IRC Arizona has the staff needed to provide services to our clients, and to support staff’s HR needs.
Some of the routine administrative duties would include but are not limited to: data entry and maintenance of our PTO tracking system, doing routine space checks for: cleanliness, printer needs, sanitizer wipes, (then addressing/reporting found needs); new-hire tasks: keeping mailroom inboxes up to date; entering names/emails in printers; maintaining birthday and anniversary tracking in HR calendar. Other duties and special projects will arise.
The HR Admin Support Volunteer works in an air-conditioned office environment. IRC has well established COVID safety protocols for the protection of our clients, volunteers, and staff, which includes wearing masks when in our office. IRC policy requires all staff, interns, and volunteers to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID 19.
