Location: Off-site in Prince George’s County (exact location disclosed to volunteers).
Time Commitment: This volunteer position is ongoing. The Saturday Learning Series is offered every other Saturday during the school year. We ask that volunteers commit to attending a minimum of three sessions in three months. Sessions take place from 10:30AM-12:30PM.

Responsibilities: Saturday Learning Series volunteers will work one on one with middle and high school students offering homework help, general tutoring, English conversation practice, SAT/ACT prep, and scholarship and college application support. Volunteers will help new students develop a learning plan and establish goals for the school year. All materials will be provided.
Skills & Qualifications: Volunteers must be fluent in English; have some experience working with youth; be culturally sensitive and respectful of diverse backgrounds; able to follow instructions and maintain appropriate relationships with students and staff; able to handle client information confidentially.
