Virtual Connect to Success Conversation Partner

Start date: Ongoing
Last updated

The IRC in Atlanta’s Connect to Success (C2S) program is one of the only programs in the U.S. dedicated exclusively to supporting out-of-school refugee youth ages 16 to 24. C2S addresses the unique barriers to success faced by this population—interrupted education, language, lack of familiarity with education and career pathways in the U.S., financial pressure to work rather than attend school, and experiences of trauma—through holistic support, including one-on-one coaching and group workshops. All of our programs are currently operating virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

You can support the success of our hard-working C2S students by signing up to be a Virtual C2S Conversation Partner! Conversation Partners work with one student on conversational English, via a virtual platform.

Minimum Commitment: 1-2 hours per week, flexible scheduling, for at least 3 months.

To learn more or sign up, please contact VolunteerATL [at] Rescue.org.
