Thank you 2012 from International Rescue Committee on Vimeo.
As people across the United States look forward to Thursday's Thanksgiving celebrations, IRC president George Rupp today shared his own message of thanks with IRC supporters, along with a new video highlighting the IRC's work around the world:
Before the busy holiday season begins, I would like to take a moment to say how deeply grateful I am for your generosity and commitment to the courageous people the International Rescue Committee serves around the world.
With every gesture of support — from ongoing financial contributions, to volunteering, to speaking out for refugee rights — you prove beyond a doubt that the worst crises bring out the very best in people. Your humanitarian actions make an extraordinary difference in the lives of others who struggle under desperate circumstances.
Together, we have helped those in harm’s way to survive and go on to rebuild their lives.
Please take a moment to watch this video, which highlights the IRC’s work and expresses our deep appreciation for your commitment to human potential and dignity.
From all of us at the IRC, thank you for your continued support and best wishes for a peaceful Thanksgiving.
Sincerely,
George Rupp
