We Can Be Heroes: Thank You from International Rescue Committee on Vimeo.
We just shared this video message with supporters:
A year ago, the International Rescue Committee and DC Entertainment joined forces to combat the effects of a devastating drought in East Africa through the We Can Be Heroes campaign. Since then, we have been inspired by the remarkable resilience of those we serve and the enormous generosity of our supporters. Thousands of families continue to face extraordinary challenges, but the campaign has had a wide-ranging impact.
Last year, your support enabled the IRC to:
- Deliver health and nutritional services to 450,000 people.
- Provide access to clean water for 1 million people.
- Help nearly 230,000 people to restore their livelihoods.
We’ll continue to keep you posted on our progress. In the meantime, please take a moment to view this short video, an expression of our gratitude to you and thousands of others who have helped make the We Can Be Heroes campaign a success.
Watch the video and share it with others who want to make a difference. (You can use the Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and email icons at the top right of this page.)
