"Warm for Winter" Clothing Drive

Update 12/21/11: The "Warm for Winter" clothing drive is now closed to further donations. We received an amazing response from the community and are beyond capacity for donations! Thank you so much for your tremendous support! Happy holidays from the IRC in Seattle.
 
As the weather begins to turn, the IRC in Seattle needs your support as we prepare local refugee communities for the coming winter months. The IRC will disseminate information and resources to recently arrived refugees to help them stay healthy throughout the cold winter. With your help, we will also supply refugee children and adults with free, warm winter clothing and other items to help protect against the cold. We are currently seeking donations of the following new or gently used items:
 
Winter Coats and Jackets
Sweaters/Sweatshirts
Hats/Ear Muffs
Gloves/Mittens
Scarves Long Pants
Long Sleeve Shirts
Boots
Socks
Pajamas
Blankets
Umbrellas
