The IRC in Geneva

First established in 1956, the International Rescue Committee's office in Geneva, Switzerland, acts as liaison with Geneva-based humanitarian institutions, most significantly the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). It also represents the IRC in various fora with UN specialized agencies, UN member states, intergovernmental organizations, nongovernmental organizations and consortia, and major donors.
