A picture worth a thousand words?

IRC water quality officer Sob-sob louina etienne holds two bottles of water – one containing water before it has been treated by the IRC and one afterwards. Spot the difference!

Photo: The IRC
They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. And in this case it’s entirely true.  In the bottle on the left is water taken straight from Lake Cariari near Bahai in eastern Chad. On the right is water taken from the lake that’s been filtered, treated and chlorinated by the IRC’s water treatment plant in nearby Oure Cassoni camp for Darfuri refugees.

Which one would you rather drink?

Bravo IRC ! You are a true

Bravo IRC !
You are a true friend of the marginalised persons.
While the pictures show how most people are suffering, they also depict the fact that IRC is transforming millions of lives of the poor people.

What a wonderful picture!

What a wonderful picture! Thank you for informing me of this progress to provide
clean water in Chad. You are my heroes

This is a beautiful

This is a beautiful achievement.

I understand the importance

I understand the importance of potable water
I am pleased that steps are being taken to make this a reality throughout the world
How would ozoneated and oxygenated processes work in these regions, to replace the use of chlorine
Chlorine is a hazardous waste and industrial by-product and is the cause of many health conditions
Let us help others with our current science and knowledge

Thank you for helping

Thank you for helping thousand and thousand of people in the world. Think about helping Haitian people may be welcomed. When I arrived in Haiti, I saw how population suffer by lack of clean water, in my mind...only question. Where is IRC?

As said OBAMA, YES WE CAN! YES IRC CAN!

Best regards.

Jean Berchmans KABIRIGI.
