Concerned about the crisis in Syria? Share this photo to help spread awareness.
- 70% of Syrian refugees live outside of refugee camps
- Percentage of refugees in non-camp settings:
- Lebanon: 100%
- Jordan: 80%
- Iraq: 50%
- Turkey: 30%
- Most refugees are unable to legally work
- They struggle to buy food, water, fuel, and clothing
- They can rarely find or afford a place to live
- They need cash assistance and better shelter, healthcare and education programs
Aid must be scaled up for urban refugees to help them survive outside of camps.
