Actress Sarah Wayne Callies is a long-time supporter of the International Rescue Committee — she's also one of our favorite bloggers. She's already written about her visits to IRC programs in Thailand and the United States. Next she'll be turning her attention to the humanitarian crisis in the Middle East, where more than 2.5 million people have been forced from their homes by a spiraling civil war in Syria.
Check back in the coming days for her latest posts: Rescue.org/blog
