The perfect last-minute gift idea: Rescue Gifts
December 24, 2012
By The IRC
There's still time to give holiday gifts that can rescue lives. Giving Rescue Gifts to anyone on your list has never been easier - a beautiful, personalized eCard can be sent within minutes!
- Year of School: $52 can supply the tuition, books and other materials to send a young girl to school for a full year, giving her the chance of a better, brighter life.
- Child Emergency Care: $23 can provide lifesaving medical assistance to a sick and malnourished child staying in the hospital of a refugee camp, as well as supplies to help them stay healthy.
- Clean Water:$100 can rush clean, fresh water to 200 people whose lives have been uprooted by emergencies such as war, famine or drought.
When you give Rescue Gifts for the holidays, you help the International Rescue Committee provide critical assistance to refugee families around the world.
**All online gifts will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $1.9 million through December 31.**
