The unsanitary conditions in Port-au-Prince's tent settlements and slums are ripe for the spread of cholera. The IRC's Susana Ferreira shared these photos of our environmental health team treating water in camps where people don't have a safe supply. more »

Cholera is a serious threat to the more than one million earthquake survivors living in crowded tent settlements around Port-au-Prince. That's why prevention activities are in full gear in the 30 camps where the IRC currently assists some 100,000 people. more »
