| Great news from IRC humanitarian affairs director Gerry Martone, who says: "As of midnight, there are a total of 50,006 signatures on the Stop Violence against Women Petition! We met our goal of 50,000 signatures but we’re still keeping the petition open until we present it to Congress in the coming weeks." Many thanks to everyone who's signed the petition.
