A communications professional with more than 18 years of experience working for some of the world’s leading nongovernmental organizations, Sophia Jones-Mwangi has organized and facilitated media trips to locations as varied as inner-city Kingston, Jamaica, rural India and the highlands of Ethiopia. Ms. Jones-Mwangi is a trained journalist whose feature articles have been published in UK-based magazines and newspapers.

She holds a degree in international relations and politics, and a diploma in journalism.
