Why should I go to the IRC for Immigration Services?
The IRC in San Diego’s Immigration Department became accredited as a Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) agency in 1989, and has provided low cost, high quality immigration case management services to thousands of refugees, asylees, and immigrants over the years. The Immigration Department’s BIA accredited staff are authorized to complete immigration applications and represent clients in front of US government officials.
Many federal, state, and community organizations recognize the IRC as a skilled provider of naturalization and immigration services and thus, the IRC has implemented a series of innovative naturalization programs such as “Immigration 101” workshops, the “Citizenship at Your Workplace” initiatives (2000), websites with resources for refugees (2002 to present), and the Golden Door Citizenship services for seniors (2009).
