Where Is Darfur?

Darfur is a region of western Sudan, roughly the size of Texas, where violent conflict over the past decade has driven more than 2.7 million people from their homes. The fighting is spilling over to neighboring Chad, where some 300,000 Darfur refugees have found shelter.
