International Rescue Committee (IRC)

Volunteer/Intern Process

How to become an intern or volunteer

If you are interested in volunteering with the IRC in Salt Lake City, we ask that you first attend a Volunteer Information Session. These sessions are held twice a month at the IRC office. During the information session we will discuss refugees, how they end up in Utah, the IRC, and detailed information about our volunteer opportunities that include one-time, short-term, and long-term commitments. Keep in mind there are both individual and group volunteer opportunities. You will receive an application at the information session.
