The IRC provides support to thousands of refugees resettling in 29 U.S. cities each year through initial housing assistance; case management and referral services; job readiness and placement; community and cultural orientation; health and wellness programs; immigration services; and youth programs.

The Finance & Accounting Intern will support the California Cluster Finance team with tasks such as maintaining filing systems, preparing monthly donor reports, verifying financial data, and assisting with general finance-related duties. Applicants must have completed at least two semesters of accounting, possess strong Excel skills, and be able to work independently under pressure.

This role supports the Donations Coordinator in improving services for refugees and engaging the community by sourcing, tracking, and reporting cash‑in‑kind donations.

Through incisive written communication and careful networking skills, the Social Media Intern will work alongside the Volunteer Coordinator in managing IRC's outreach and communication efforts.

Economic Empowerment in Turlock provides tools, and resources for economic mobility, financial independence, and autonomy. The Early Employment department works with refugees, asylees, and immigrant populations to gain the job readiness skills required to secure and retain gainful employment and attain economic self-sufficiency. Programming includes classes, workshops, and one-on-one job and financial coaching, in addition to comprehensive case management that addresses clients’ holistic needs. Interns provide support in working directly with clients enrolled in IRC Turlock programming.
