Three reasons to make a recurring gift

1. You can reach people right when they need you the most.

Our teams go where we’re needed most. The IRC responds to emergencies within 72 hours and when you make a monthly gift, you help to ensure we can rapidly respond with health care, clean water, emergency supplies and other vital aid.

2. You can help people rebuild their lives.

Your support doesn’t just help families at the onset of a crisis, it helps ensure our teams can stay as long as we’re needed so families can recover and regain control over their futures. With your help, we provide education, job training, small business support, resettlement assistance, women’s empowerment programmes and so much more.

Helping people survive and rebuild their lives is how the IRC has operated for decades. In 1933, the IRC was founded at the call of Albert Einstein. He and a small group of humanitarians helped families escape Nazi-occupied France, ultimately saving and rebuilding thousands of lives during World War II. Their courage and ingenuity inspires our work to this day.

3. Making a gift is quick, easy and life-changing.

When you become a monthly donor, you provide vital assistance every day of the year, giving people caught in humanitarian crises the steady, sustaining support they can count on.

Your gifts will be processed automatically, giving you the peace of mind that you are making a difference. Donating on a monthly basis is quick and easy for you and life-changing for the people we serve.

Your support in action

We go to remote locations and villages, including territories where the healthcare system got damaged. We’re providing medical help, therefore, we’re improving quality of life.

How monthly giving works

Choose an amount

Select the amount you’d like to give as a monthly gift and rest assured that your gift will be used wisely.

Monthly donations are not restricted to a particular IRC program to ensure your contribution goes where the funding is needed most and support immediate crises.

Make a donation

Once you sign up, each gift is automatically debited from your account, with your first donation charged the day you make a gift.

Your credit card will then be charged the same amount on the 15th of each month. You can change or cancel your recurring donation any time by contacting us at 1-855-973-7283.

Help people in crisis

Monthly donors Sustainers help people caught in crises 365 days a year.

Your passion for helping others is vital to our mission. As a monthly donor, we’ll be sure to update you on your impact and the work you’re helping us do around the world.

Why I became a sustainer

I’ve always considered the Ukrainian people my brothers and sisters, donating monthly is the best thing I can do to help them.
