By providing in-person support with schoolwork, you can empower newcomer students to build confidence, competency, and community.
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) in San Jose welcomes refugees and immigrants by providing diverse services to support independence and integration. The Volunteer Tutor works with Youth Programs and will be trained by and report to the Tutoring Coordinator. The Volunteer Tutor will enhance academic success of one or more children by providing high-quality, responsive tutoring.
