Using data captured on the snapshot date of 5th April 2025, the ethnicity pay gap at IRC UK for 2025 has been measured at 5.4% for mean hourly salaries and 6.2% for median hourly salaries. This pay gap has decreased since the last measurement in April 2024 from 13.8% (mean) and 15.8% (median).

This indicates that the average hourly pay for ‘White or White British’ employees is higher than that of non-White employees. While IRC UK are pleased to see the ethnicity pay gap getting smaller, we remain committed to narrowing it further through concerted action, examples of which are included in the ethnicity pay gap report.
