What is Face-to-Face Fundraising?

Face-to-face fundraising is an innovative and effective way for non-profit organisations to engage with the public and ask for their support. It involves professional fundraisers who represent the International Rescue Committee UK, working to raise awareness about our cause and ask for regular donations.

Transform Lives with the Power of Face-to-Face Fundraising

At the International Rescue Committee UK, we believe that every life is precious and deserving of care and support. Our face-to-face fundraising efforts aim to reach more people and transform more lives by offering them an opportunity to make a difference.

Expertly Trained Fundraisers

Our professional fundraising team consists of expertly trained and passionate individuals who are dedicated to our cause. They undergo regular training sessions, led by specialists from the International Rescue Committee UK, to ensure they are well-equipped to answer any questions and engage with the public in a respectful and informative manner.

Fundraising Methods

Door to Door fundraisers

Our fundraisers go door-to-door, visiting residential areas to engage supporters at home, collect support via direct debit commitments, and share information about our vital work and impact around the world.

Private Site Fundraisers

Our team also work from private sites, such as shopping centres and train stations, to recruit new supporters and raise awareness.

Spotting a Genuine International Rescue Committee UK Fundraiser

All of our face-to-face fundraisers wear a branded t-shirt or jacket and carry a photo ID badge, making them easy to identify. They will tell you that they are a paid fundraiser raising funds for the International Rescue Committee UK and share information about the campaign they are working on and the amount they are aiming to raise and ask you to sign up.

You will receive a confirmation email or text message and a welcome pack will be sent to your address given within 14 days.
