Overview
Purpose: This session will equip you with the knowledge and tools needed to manage the crucial first 72 hours after a refugee family’s arrival in the UK.
Course Content:
- Preparing logistics before arrival.
- Providing food, funds, and a culturally welcoming environment.
- Supporting GP, school, and authority registrations.
- Early coordination with local services.

- Who should attend: Community Sponsorship Groups preparing for a family’s arrival.
- Prerequisites: Introduction to Data Management, Part 1: The Application, Safeguarding
- Pre-session materials: To be provided.
