Purpose: This session will support you in guiding families through early integration, independence, and access to services in the UK
Course Content:
- Registering with essential services (GP, schools, banks).
- Supporting Universal Credit and housing applications.
- Encouraging independence and self-sufficiency.
- Building social and community connections.
Audience & Prerequisites
- Who should attend: Community Sponsorship Groups who have welcomed or are about to welcome a family.
- Prerequisites: Introduction to Data Management, Part 1: The Application, Safeguarding, Pre-Arrival: The First 72 Hours
- Pre-session materials: To be provided.
