The IRC’s 26 US offices offer a variety of unpaid internship opportunities throughout the year. Prospective interns must go through the volunteer process and should be currently enrolled in an educational institution or a recent graduate.

This spring, the IRC in Missoula will serve as a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) site, offering free tax filing to refugees and other qualifying community members!

The Central American Minors (CAM) Program has recently reopened and the IRC in Los Angeles is here to help! Contact us to file an application and begin the family reunification process today.

We're estimated to receive more than 400 refugees in 2024. We will be welcoming clients in Des Moines, as well as expanding our services into Marshalltown and Iowa City. Learn how you can support us!
