2. Invite an IRC speaker to your group

Want to learn more about refugees, immigrants or survivors of human trafficking. The IRC has staff and client speakers available to share with your group. Send us an email to schedule a speaker today!

3. Enroll in Community Rewards at Dillons Food Stores

Dillons will donate a small gift to the IRC each time you shop! Simply sign in to your online account using your registered email address and password and then search “International Rescue Committee in Wichita” and select “enroll.”

4. Speak up

Stand with refugees and call on elected officials to support pro-refugee legislation at the local, state and federal level. Visit IRCAction.org to get the latest updates and talking points for calling. Click here to find a list of your elected officials. 

5. Volunteer

There are many ways to volunteer with the IRC in Kansas: mentoring a refugee family, becoming an English tutor, or coaching a refugee through writing a resume for a first job in the United States. Reach out to [email protected] to learn how you can get involved!

6. Invest in a refugee's future
