Fresh Food and Fresh Opportunity
Tek is a refugee from Bhutan. Since resettling in Phoenix in 2009, he has found success as the owner of ABC Mart, a local grocery store. ABC Mart is one of the partners of the IRC in its Healthy Corner Store Initiative to provide fresh produce to refugees and other low-income Americans.

Iraqi girls find a refuge from ISIS and a chance to build a future
Aya was forced to flee her home during the battle to retake the Iraqi city of Mosul from ISIS. Now she's found a safe space at an IRC women's center where she can socialize with other girls, and learn skills to help her take control of her future.
