National Advocacy Days Refugee Council
At the National Advocacy Days Refugee Council Conference, the IRC in NY’s very own Luis Mejia’s served as the New York’s Refugee Congress Delegate (RCD). Luis is the IRC in NY’s Workforce Development Specialist/Acting Interim Economic Empowerment Manager. He was thrilled to be voted for the RCD position.

IRC’s employment team increases self-sufficiency for refugees in Utah
When refugees arrive in Utah, one of our top priorities at the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Salt Lake City is to support individuals on their job search, so that they can start living independently. The IRC’s employment services team works to support adults enrolled in the early employment program to prepare for and secure their first job in the U.S. within the first three to six months post-arrival.
