A growing humanitarian crisis in Northern Central America continues to force thousands of people to displace in search for safety every year. Violence in Honduras is at levels akin to war zones. The International Rescue Committee serves individuals and families who are at risk of violence and displacement in Honduras with programming to satisfy their most urgent needs as well as working with communities and families to mitigate and prevent violence.
Nearly 1 million Rohingya have fled violence in Myanmar's Rakhine State to Cox’s Bazar, a district in Bangladesh. The IRC is responding with health care, protection for vulnerable women and children, and emergency support for the refugees.
