On Saturday, October 17th, IRC is celebrating its 50th year of serving refugees and immigrants in Seattle at our annual benefit dinner. To host this event, we need a strong cadre of volunteers. Please consider volunteering your time with us! We have roles available the night before, on Friday Oct. 16, and roles the day of the event on Oct. 17. 

All volunteering will be done at Pacific Tower in the Beacon Hill neighborhood of Seattle: 1200 S 12th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98144.

The roles:

  • Friday Setup, 10/16, 7:30-9:30p: Setting up tables, chairs, and main layout for event. [2 more volunteers needed]
  • Saturday Parking/Elevator, 10/17, 4:15-6:15p: Parking, elevator volunteers (prepare for weather!) [8 more volunteers needed]
  • Saturday Food/spotting, 10/17, 4:45-9p: Ensure food is stocked, clear finished plates, prepare leftover containers, spotting for "raise the paddle" [8 more volunteers needed]
  • Saturday Teardown, 10/17, 8:30-10p: Take down and pack decor, put away tables and chairs, pack up event assets [6 more volunteers needed]
