The IRC in Tallahassee is seeking volunteer food packers to package food boxes at our distribution site to support clients in the Tallahassee area. Support refugees by offsetting food insecurity with "The Last Mile" food distribution initiative. Volunteers are needed for the 1st Saturday of every month.
Responsibilities:
- Package food boxes according to instructions/ model box
- Follow coordinator instructions when unloading food packages from a delivery truck
Requirements:
- Maintain good hygiene
- Must be reliable, professional, and others with respect
- Must track and log hours volunteered monthly via our online volunteer dashboard
Minimum Commitment:
- Approximately 2 hours on pre-scheduled Saturday distribution.
