Given the concern around COVID-19, on Wednesday, March 17, 2020 the IRC in San Diego closed our offices in City Heights and El Cajon and are working remotely until further notice. We are using phone, email, and finding new ways to use technology to continue to serve our clients while the physical office is closed. We have suspended most in-person volunteer activity until further notice. If you would like to be contacted when our programs are back up and running, or to inquire about any current remote opportunities, please email [email protected] .

The IRC is expanding our response with further changes to our operations in order to help prevent the spread of illness in our community, and to protect the health of our clients, volunteers and staff. In the weeks and months to come, we will continue to provide the core services that our clients depend on while also using organizational knowledge and expertise built over our long history of crisis response to address new challenges the families we serve will face.

It has never been more important to work together as a community - follow us on Facebook or Twitter and see our COVID-19 Updates Page for the latest and to help us share critical information and updates. You can also see some other ways to support refugees in San Diego here.
