IRC in Northern California has released its 2025 Annual Report, offering a snapshot of a year defined by transition, resilience, and community response.

Across the region, newcomers continued to rebuild their lives while navigating an increasingly complex landscape. In Northern California, that reality has required not only adaptability from the families we serve, but also a deepened commitment from local communities, partners, and staff.

This year’s report reflects that shared effort. It brings forward the experiences of individuals and families working toward stability, alongside the systems and support that make that progress possible. From early moments of arrival to longer-term pathways toward belonging, the report highlights what it takes to move forward in uncertain conditions.

Rather than focusing only on numbers, the report centers the people behind the work, their resilience, their leadership, and the communities that continue to show up alongside them.

As we look ahead, the need for sustained, community-based support remains critical. This report is an invitation to better understand that moment, and the role we all play in shaping what comes next.
