Below is a list of the food resources we know to be available in the Dallas areas where our clients are located. This is not an extensive list and will be updated as things change and we learn more. Please visit the links at the bottom of the entries for the most up-to-date information. 

 

Dallas ISD Student Meal Services

Meals will be distributed every Thursday between 10 AM and 1 PM. 

You’ll receive seven breakfasts, seven lunches, and one supper.

Meals are available to all children through the age of 18, and 19 years old if the child turns 19 during the current school year (on or after the first day of school), and to students with disabilities without regard to age. Meals will be distributed based on the number of children with you. Please bring all children who will receive meals.

Richardson ISD Student Meal Services

Any child 18 or under can get free to-go meals from designated RISD schools and apartment complexes. Both a breakfast and a lunch will be provded at the same time so that students only need to make one trip a day to pick up meals. 

Beginning with meal pickups on Monday, April 6, new rules require that parents picking up free meals for children, without the children present, must bring proof of the children that the meals are for. Acceptable proof includes a school-issued student ID, report card, birth certificate, or a district verification message emailed to all RISD parents April 1. Please note that proof is not required when children come with a parent to a meal pickup location. Any child 18 or under can receive meals at a meal pickup location.

Two to-go meals per student will also be available Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the following client apartment complexes:

IRC Food Distribution

The IRC will be providing free food to IRC clients at Vickery Meadow TBK Bank Plaza (the blue container at 5 Points) on Tuesdays at 2pm and Fridays at 11am.
