The IRC in Missoula helps people fleeing violence and persecution rebuild their lives and gain control of their future. We continue to work alongside communities and partners to welcome and support Afghans and refugees from other crisis zones around the world.

Here are a few ways you can get involved and help:

  1. Give. Make a one-time donation or start your monthly contribution to ensure refugees arriving in Missoula receive vital programming and services. Donate now »

  3. Donate household items. Ensure families have the items they need for their first home in Missoula as they begin rebuilding their lives. Items purchased from our Amazon Wishlist are distributed to newly arriving families from Afghanistan and other crisis zones around the world. If you have gently used furniture items you are interested in donating, please view our current list of needed items and contact our Development Coordinator.
  4. Rent to a Refugee. Housing prices in Missoula remain high and availability is low. If you are interested in renting an apartment or home to a newly arrived Afghan family, please contact our Housing Coordinator.
