Thankfully, the Biden Administration has committed to once again stregthening the Refugee Admissions Program and increasing the number of refugees allowed to enter into the United States each year. In order to give refugees the warm welcome and help they deserve, the IRC in Los Angeles needs your continued support! Below are a few different ways in which you can help support refugees.

How to help:

1. Contribute a Welcome Kit

Welcome kits are pre-prepared packages sent to our office to help newly-arrived refugees settle into their new home. By sending already-completed packages, you help our staff to ensure efficiency in providing refugees the items they need to get started in their new home.

You can also take a look at our Target wish-list for urgently needed items if you can't complete an entire welcome kit. Or, if you would like someone else to do the shopping for you, you can purchase a gift card instead (Target, Visa, Amazon, and Walmart are most needed). You can either email them to [email protected], or mail directly to our office at: Attn: Carly Boos, International Rescue Committee, Los Angeles, CA 91206.

2. Donate

Here is the link to donate. By donating to the IRC Los Angeles, you directly contribute to supporting refugees in our community.
