The IRC was delighted to host Cultural Orientation (CO) trainers from all over the world here in Seattle! Trainers work in Resettlement Support Centers helping refugees prepare for life in the U.S. prior to their departure. This visit to Seattle was a unique opportunity for CO trainers and IRC staff to exchange knowledge and experiences. More importantly, it allowed trainers to learn directly from refugee community members who have been through the resettlement process. With their input, we can better support refugees throughout their resettlement journeys.
